New York City: Manhattan's wooden water towers
New York isfamous for the fleeds of Yellow Cabs, Hot Dog stands and friendly
fire fighters - but why is New York / Manhattan not so famous for its cute little
water towers, populating the top of the city..?!

I actually wonder, how these cute little water tanks, also known as "water
towers", survive the cold cold New York winters. Or are these wooden beauties
actually the best way to store water.. also in freezing cold weather conditions..?
I think I'll do a research on this subject and post them here as soon as I know
more.. Stay tuned.
