actually it's called the Lutheran Cathedral or in finnish Tuomiokirkko

...is located at the Senate Square and is probably the sight, that every tourist takes at least one picture of. And it is amazingly beautiful - in summer and in winter, by night and with daylight. Designed by Engel in 1818 it was only finnished in 1852, too late for Engel. It was not only his last architectural project he realized in Helsinki, but probably also his most complex.
