ferry tales 01: mini cruise aboard the Finnjet across the Baltic Sea (Rostock > Helsinki)
To travel from Berlin to Helsinki by car, the fastest and easyiest connection
used to be the FinnJet. It only went throughout the summer season - and only on the high season days it would actually go as fast as possible.. - ..and then you could actually hardly sleep because of the roaring engines.. - ..but hey - that was just fast! ..nobody promised a quiet relaxing comfy cruise anyways..:]...
The trip across the baltic sea takes about 24 hours. On board of this ferry, which
is, as far as i know, the fastest ... tourbo... whatsoever... at least theres
is about everything a passenger needs - and more:: a tax-free-shop, a casino,
a sauna and a sun-deck.
